Oh I had a scary dream last night, basically the whole world was sinking. For some reason me and a few others could turn water into ice for a little while to slide on. Also at some parts there were the big shelves that we could climb up. At the top of these shelves was a message from a loved one with some advice. It’s kind of weird because when I got to the top for the first time, there was a message from my mum saying she loved me very much and she had left in the note a pressed flower that was purple and sort of spiky. It feels really symbolic but I don’t know what it could mean. Another part of this dream was that there were lots of people I know in different roles. At one point, I was running up some stairs but then the next set of stairs went down again (keep I’m mind I had to keep going up because the whole world was sinking at a rapid pace). I gave up on this part of the island you might call it, and decided to finally swim. We were swimming to New Zealand since in my mind it would be all okay and normal there. It wasn’t.
Well, my boyfriend is currently redesigning the layout of this website, there will be some changes made! The blog section will no longer be the main focus, and this will be my permanent art showcase page! Of course the blog will still feature photos and I will update the older posts with more photos. Like photos from my Australia holiday which I said I would post but never actually did… In any case, I want to make the blog better.
A couple of days ago I purchased an iPod touch. It was on special and I have wanted one for a while so I got it. It is great, to the point where I keep forgetting that is an mp3 player and not just a magical application device!
It does everything. It’s like a PDA but better, it syncs with my gmail and other email addresses, I can twitter from it, and I can write wordpress blogs from it, even if I’m not connected to the internet, which I’m not often in a place where I can connect.
So you will probably be hearing much more from me, because every bored spare second I have, I will be writing blogs!

Yea, I’m feeling a bit this way at the moment! I’m just worn out and have too many things to do. I wish I was a cat so I could just sleep all day and get rubs. But that’s not going to happen.
Yesterday I got cat shampoo to wash Theo, my friend’s cat. Sometimes he’s smelly, and I like to wash him, then brush him and his fur goes all soft and silky! It’s brilliant. He’s a gorgeous specimen, haha.
A couple of weeks ago, Alex and I talked to a mortgage broker about well… getting a mortgage. Unfortunately, due to the current economic climate, we were declined. We’re investigating other options though. We very much want our own home, we’re so sick of the things that come with renting!
I am currently working on an assignment for my course… funnily enough it’s about managing stress.
Well, I kind of am on a random trip to Wellington. It was one of those “Let’s go to Wellington” “OKAY!” kind of situations so we haven’t really made any plans on what to to. I slept most of the way, at least all the way to Taupo. It was a pretty nice drive really. Today we went to Te Papa and saw the Colossal Squid, and there was a Monet exhibition which was fantastic. He was a really great painter. Tomorrow we are just going to go shopping and go home. It’s been pretty nice and relaxing to be honest! I’ll post some pictures later.

Not that much to say about today, but we went to Wet n’ Wild waterpark. It was pretty cool but I was really tired so didn’t really want to do a lot! We went on all the water rides and such, which was neat. My favourite part was relaxing in this river called “Calypso Beach” where you sit in tubes and just float around a lagoon. It was super relaxing and nice. For some reason though I got really cold in the water so by 4.00pm I was out and drying off. It was a good day overall, and we went to bed by 8.30pm because we were all so tired.

We used this as a chill out day, because we were all quite tired from the theme parks we decided to relax a little. While the others were in the pool, I was right here updating this little blog! I really wanted to actually keep a good diary of the trip, as I always mean to but never do in reality! I guess it’s because I don’t see much point of writing stuff down that noone is ever going to see, which is good about blogs, because other people can look!
Anyway, at about midday we went to Pacific Fair and did some shopping! I got a really pretty yet simple silver bracelet, as well as two games, Sonic Unleashed and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness. I hadn’t bought these before since I was saving money for the trip. I also bought some CD’s, I got New Found Glory’s new one, and I can’t remember what the other one was, haha.
We went to Dracula’s for dinner. It is this super cool caberet restaurant, which is all horror themed. The actors were so good, they did singing and dancing and everything. It rocked. Even the waiters and waitresses were in character, it was really neat. The food was actually really good too. We got jelly shots in these giant syringes, it was cute. It was overall a really awesome night, in the gift shop I got a black cat necklace. It rocks.
Well, more tomorrow!
I’ve caught up completely on my blogging.

Today was so awesome, the first thing we did when we got in was go to Ray Reef and we got to pet and feed the sting rays! They were all of adorable. Some of them jumped out of the water to get to the food I was holding! I love it so much I ended up buying two containers of ray food. I was trying to attract different kinds of rays with different kinds of fish. You got given a prawn, some squid and some little fish. The white spotted ray apparently like the prawn the best, but I think they all have just grown to like everything because the other rays ate the prawn in the end. They were really nice to touch as well, and they seemed to really like being petted.
After this, we went on the Burmuda triangle ride, which I’d actually forgotten what it was like, and it was kind of scary but I liked the scene that was set up for it. We had lunch after this then went to the log ride and this new Jetski Rescure ride, which was awesome although I screamed the whole way around because it was really fast!
The dolphin show was so super awesome. I love dolphins, they are so intelligent and they seem to genuinely like living at Seaworld and they seem to build a really good trusting relationship with their trainers. They are just such amazing and beautiful animals. Alex managed to get a few awesome photos of them which I’ll post here when I get the chance.

We have a three park pass thing so we’re going to three theme parks while we are here. Today we went to Movieworld. It rocked so hard. We first went on this weird Batman simulator thing, it wasn’t that great, then we got lunch, haha. After that we went on the Scooby Doo Coaster, which was awesome and so cute. There were a lot of show type things as well, we watched a stunt car one, which was so incredibly awesome. I got lots of pictures and filmed a bit of it. It was so neat.
Anna, Jemma and I went on the log flume type thing, the boys were like “Ehhh we don’t want to get wet” so it was just us girls. It was really neat. Alex had his uber zoom lens on his camera so he got close ups of us on it, it was awesome. Seriously his lens saved us a lot of money on souvenier ride photos because his were just as good as the ones that they take at the parks.
Anna really wanted to go on some more scary rides, and we’re all pansies so none of us wanted to go on with her, but me and Jemma managed to go on the Superman rollercoaster with her. Apparently you experience 4.7G and -1G on it, which was right. We were freaking out hard in the line about it. It wasn’t as bad as we thought it was going to be but we still screamed the whole way round. Unfortunately the force of the ride made me accidentally bang my industrial piercing on the harness and it bled like crazy so I had to get the first aid nurse person to clean it up.
We left pretty much after that! It was an awesome day overall.

Today was our last day in Sydney, and we were so knackered from Soundwave that once we had checked out of the hotel, we just went to the park and sat down on the grass for a good hour. Jemma and Anna went to Starbucks which Alex and Tim played around with the cameras. I just played DS I was so tired. On the way home from Soundwave we saw this swish looking Italian restaurant, so we walked there for lunch. We ate entirely too much, which was awesome, and they also had Dajuiri’s for $6 each! Me and Jemma had two each and were giggly until we got on the plane for the Gold Coast. It was really weird because on the plane you had to pay to watch the little TV’s, but they gave you a preview for about 5 minutes, but then after that it switched to this countdown screen, and this guy saying “VSU, Channel 4″ over and over again. We all laughed so hard about it for a good 15 minutes, and our flight was only 25 minutes.
When we got to Gold Coast, we took a shuttle to our apartment. It was really weird though because we droved through my friend Lucas’ old suburb where he used to live. When we got to the apartment, we just chillax’d ordered dinner, then hadf a swim. It is the most beautiful place ever. It has three swimming pools, one of which has like a little beach shore with sand and stuff. It is so pretty.
